No restrictions: Custom architectural woodwork permits complete freedom of any of the numerous hardwoods and soft woods available for transparent or opaque finish. These materials can be fashioned into a wide variety of profiles, sizes, and configurations. Salina Planing Mill grinds our own knives so we are able to produce custom profiles, straight or radius in wood species of your choice. Wood base, crown, chair rail, casing, jambs, and stair parts can all be provided factory finished in our environmentally controlled finishing facility. "Distressing" or other special finishes can also be provided in order to meet your specific design criteria.
